Chewy Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies

These cookies are sooooooooooooooooo good! I made 3 batches this past weekend cuz my family kept asking for more!

The recipe is by the fabulous Joy McCarthy of Joyous Health!

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp tahini
  • 1/4 tsp of sea salt
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1-1/2 cups oats
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (I used 55% dark chocolate chips)
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl
  3. Stir together until fully combined
  4. Make sure the tahini is evenly spread throughout the cookies
  5. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper
  6. Drop 1 tbsp spoonfuls onto baking sheet
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown (they took 9-10 minutes in my oven ~ so check around the 9 minute mark so they don’t burn on the bottom)
  8. Let cool slightly then transfer to a cooling rack
  9. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
