Be healthy … mind – body – spirit

Why You Should Have Spirulina EVERY Day!

spirulina

It’s super high in protein. Gram for gram it has more protein than a piece of steak or chicken.

It’ll give you energy. Spirulina delivers a huge energy boost due to it’s high levels of iron, and B vitamins. Have it first thing in the morning or take it in the afternoon to tackle the afternoon slump!

It’s high in Omega 3’s. This helps with inflammation, protects against Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, improves skin health and improves cholesterol by lowering triglycerides and elevating HDL (good cholesterol) levels.

It’s incredibly good for your bones. Spirulina has 26 times the calcium than in full-cream milk.

It’s a great detoxer. Spirulina is extremely high in chlorophyll, which helps remove toxins from the blood and boost the immune system. It can also bind with heavy metals in the body and help eliminate them.

Improves eye health. It contains ten times more vitamin A than carrots contains on a gram per gram level.

It contains a ton of vitamins and minerals. Spirulina has Vitamin B 1,2,3,6,9, Vitamin C, D, A & E. It also contains chromium, copper, maganesium. phosphorus, potassium, manganese, zinc, selenium, sodium and the aforementioned calcium and iron.

It helps fight free-radicals. It has 400% more antioxidants than blueberries!

It strengthens the immune system. Spirulina strengthens the immune system, leaving you less likely to experience colds and flu.

Spirulina comes in tablet or powder form. It’s easy to take in tablet form as you just take it with water. If you are feeling more hardcore ~ like in my house ~ stir about a teaspoon of the powder in some water and shoot it back!

Give spirulina a go! Your body will thank you!

Where would I get Spirulina? Does it need to be kept in the freezer like E3 Live? What would the monthly cost of a daily dose be?
