Why I Add Bee Pollen To My Smoothies

I love to throw as much healthy stuff as I can into my morning smoothie! One thing I have recently discovered is Bee Pollen. Not only is it a complete super food, but it adds a lovely sweet taste to the smoothie.

The use of bee pollen has been around a long, long time. There is evidence that shows that bee pollen has been used by humans as far back as ancient Egyptian times.

Bee pollen is a mass of pollen that has been packed by worker honeybees and is the food for the young bees. It is considered one of nature’s most completely nourishing foods. Bee pollen contains nearly all the nutrients required by humans!!!

Bee pollen is 40% protein, contains 22 amino acids, has a whole bunch of vitamins and minerals as well as antioxidants.

Here are some of the amazing benefits of bee pollen:

Anti-aging ~

Bee pollen is packed with antioxidants that fight free radicals which are caused by stress, pollutants, environmental toxins and other chemicals. Bee pollen will help to prevent many signs of aging including wrinkles! Oh ya!

Increases Energy and Mental Clarity ~

The carbohydrates, protein and B vitamins will give you lots of energy, keep you going all day long, and will help to fight off fatigue.

Strengthens The Immune System ~

Bee pollen is good for the intestinal flora and therefore, supports the immune system. As well, bee pollen enhances the immune system by providing it with nutrients including vitamins B, C, D, and E as well as protein, cysteine, nucleic acids and magnesium.

Improves Digestion ~

The enzymes in bee pollen aid with digestion. Enzymes are important as they help your body to get all the nutrients you need from the food that you eat.

Supports The Cardiovascular System ~

Bee pollen contains large amounts of rutin, which is an antioxidant bioflavonoid that strengthens capillaries and blood vessels. Therefore, bee pollen helps to maintain good cholesterol levels and has anti-clotting properties that may prevent heart attack and stroke.

Prostate Relief ~

For men who suffer from benign prostate hyperplasia, bee pollen can help reduce inflammation to stop frequent urges to urinate.

Skin Soother ~

Bee pollen is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions like psoriasis or eczema. The amino acids and vitamins protect the skin and will aid the regeneration of cells.

So ……………. what are you waiting for?

Head on over to your local health store or buy on-line, some bee pollen. Add it to you smoothies, sprinkle on top of your yogurt or add it to your granola! Your body will thank you.

You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation but I
find this matter to be really something that I believe I
might by no means understand. It sort of feels too
complicated and very wide for me. I am taking a look ahead in your subsequent put up, I’ll try to get the hold of it!
